Ceyda Düvenci ile Bambaşka Sohbetler

Cumhuriyetimizin 101. yılında, Darüşşafaka İHA Takımı olarak hayatımız boyunca unutamayacağımız bir deneyim yaşadık.

Ceyda Düvenci’nin “Bambaşka Sohbetler” programına konuk olduk. Stüdyoya adım attığımızda hepimizde aynı heyecan vardı; hem Cumhuriyet Bayramı’nın gururu, hem de projemiz Yavuz Denizlerde Arama Kurtarma İHA’sını anlatmanın mutluluğu.

Program öncesinde Ceyda Hanım’la kısa ama çok samimi bir sohbet ettik. Projeye ve Darüşşafaka ruhuna duyduğu ilgiyi hissetmek çok güzeldi. Gülümseyen yüzü, içten tavırları ve bizi dikkatle dinleyişi stüdyoya olan tüm heyecanımızı yumuşattı.

Program sırasında ekibimizi temsilen iki arkadaşımız mikrofon başına geçti. Onlar, Yavuz İHA’nın hikâyesini, tasarım sürecini, yarışma deneyimlerimizi ve ekibimizin hedeflerini anlattı. Biz kalanlar ise izleyici koltuklarından onları gururla izledik. Her cümlede kendimizi, uykusuz gecelerimizi ve o ilk uçuşun heyecanını gördük.

Programın sonunda biz de kamera karşısına çıktık — kısa ama anlamlı bir andı. Tüm ekibin yüzünde aynı ifade vardı: gurur, mutluluk ve biraz da şaşkınlık. Çünkü birkaç ay önce okul laboratuvarında vidalarla uğraşırken, şimdi televizyonda milyonların önündeydik.

O gün, sadece Yavuz İHA’mızı anlatmadık. Aynı zamanda hayal kurmanın, takım olmanın ve inandığın şey için çalışmanın ne kadar kıymetli olduğunu bir kez daha hatırladık.

Ve en güzeli, bunu 29 Ekim gibi özel bir günde, Cumhuriyet’in ışığında yapmaktı.

Conversations with Ceyda Düvenci

On the 101st anniversary of the Republic, as the Darüşşafaka UAV Team, we had an experience we’ll never forget.

We were invited as guests on Ceyda Düvenci’s show “Bambaşka Sohbetler.” The moment we stepped into the studio, every one of us felt the same mix of emotions — pride for Republic Day, and the joy of finally getting to talk about our project, the Yavuz Search and Rescue UAV.

Before filming, we had a brief but genuinely warm conversation with Ceyda. It was wonderful to feel her real curiosity about the project and about the spirit of Darüşşafaka. Her smile, her sincerity, and the way she actually listened put us all at ease.

During the show, two of our teammates took the microphone and shared Yavuz’s story — the design process, our competition journey, and where we hoped to take the project. The rest of us watched proudly from the audience. In every sentence, we saw ourselves: all those sleepless nights, all that excitement before the first test flight.

At the end, we stepped in front of the camera too — a short moment, but a meaningful one. Every face in the team wore the same expression: pride, happiness, and a hint of disbelief. Because just a few months earlier, we’d been hunched over screws in the school lab, and now here we were on television, in front of millions.

That day, we didn’t just talk about Yavuz.

We were reminded, once again, how much it means to dream, to work as a team, and to keep going for something you believe in.

And the best part? We got to do it on October 29th — in the light of the Republic.
